Sigma Sigma Sigma was founded at Longwood College in Farmville,
Virginia on April 20, 1898. Tri-Sigma was founded by these eight women above. These women looked for many things to come from forming this organization, such as, friendships, leadership, and a support group during and after college. Thanks to the founders and the wonderful women who succeeded them. As the Sigma's graduate, they stay in touch by forming or joining an alumnae chapter.

If I never wondered,
and if I never tried,
If I never sailed the boat, then stayed along
for the ride,
I would have missed
the laughter,
I would have missed
the tears,
I would have missed
the bond that lasts
throughout the years.
I want to spread the word,
to let the whole world know,
Tri-Sigmas
don't just see the light,
They also feel the glow.
